What is Passive House Design?

Passive House design is an approach that originated in Germany

and then came to America in 2003. It focuses on achieving superior

energy eƯiciency and comfort in buildings. By utilizing high-performance insulation, advanced air sealing, energy-efficient windows, and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, Passive House buildings maintain a comfortable indoor climate year-round while significantly reducing energy costs.
